Atturra provided dedicated technical resources to lead the analysis, planning, documentation, development, testing and deployment of integrations between CQUniversity’s on-premise academic scheduling system, the SaaS-based Student Management System and Timetabling & Scheduling.
Initially, Atturra assessed the current state and suggested potential architectural designs. After determining how the new Timetabling and Scheduling integration interfaces and web services would work, the team identified what configuration pieces would be required.
Working collaboratively with the CQUniversity team, we reviewed and expanded vendor-produced data mapping documents and developed Proof of Concepts (PoCs).
The project required customised integrations and the development of a completely new integration between the on-premise academic scheduling system and TechnologyOne’s Timetabling & Scheduling solution. In collaboration with TechnologyOne, we also extended the use of available functionality within the Timetabling & Scheduling web services to ensure alignment with supported capabilities.
In conjunction with CQUniversity’s subject matter experts, we delivered extensive system testing and supported subsequent UAT activities. Atturra documented all data flows, configurations, and artefacts and produced deployment documentation. After deploying the solution into production, it went live in October 2024. Atturra continues to provide post-go-live support in collaboration with CQUniversity’s internal teams.
