Change approach built on seven pillars of adoption

Our approach to change is informed by the industry-standard Prosci ADKAR® model. Atturra’s bespoke methodology expands on this model.

Based on real-world data and experience with Australian organisations, we've identified seven key factors that contribute to higher levels of adoption and more successful business outcomes.

We help you meet the requirements in each of these seven areas, collectively driving successful change to meet your project and business objectives. Using both qualitative and quantitative methods, we measure the effectiveness of change activities and tangible business benefits are derived along the way.

Here are our seven pillars explained.

  1. Vision: This provides a foundation for all other pillars. Leadership and communication activities need to reinforce the vision throughout the program.

  1. Sponsorship: Sponsors are owners and champions of the benefits that realising the vision will deliver.

  1. Communications: Establishes and maintains engagement with the business and provides two-way channels for information exchange and feedback.

  1. Change culture: If people feel heard, supported and empowered to take ownership of the change, adoption and benefits realisation will more than likely follow.

  1. Management support: Facilitates interaction and engagement at all levels and locations within an organisation. Team members look to their managers for reassurance, role modelling and guidance.

  1. Learning and support: Provides the support, resources and opportunities to learn and practise new skills and behaviours to help deliver the vision and associated benefits. New skills and behaviours are reinforced as people grow in confidence and competence.

  1. Performance: Business ownership of the new operating model increases as confidence and competence grow, and further efficiency gains are realised as performance increases.
