We’re pleased to have a Chief Security Officer, Gareth Gardner, now on board. This role supports Atturra’s unique industry position for both Defence and Government in having extensive on-shore capabilities, with over 200 security-cleared staff.
Based out of our Canberra office, Gareth Gardner is a veteran of nearly 20 years with the Australian Army. He had a varied and interesting role involving coaching soldiers on leadership, their careers and data analytics.
As well as his experience gained in the Army, Gareth has worked as a developer and in a customer success role with a company called WithYouWithMe. This company specialises in transitioning ex-defence personnel into tech-related roles within the defence and government sectors. Also, in helping technology organisations, like Atturra, to find the right staff to service these industries.
Gareth’s position at Atturra will involve managing the processes for new and existing staff to meet the clearance requirements needed to service our Defence and Government clients. His role will include onboarding, briefings, and annual clearance refresher training.
