FTS Group acquires Galaxy 42 ushering in new growth opportunities in Application Consulting Services
Sydney, 9 December 2019 – FTS Group, a federated group of Australia-headquartered technology businesses, has acquired a majority stake in Melbourne-headquartered application consulting house, Galaxy 42.
The acquisition will enable FTS Group to build out its market footprint in the local government sector as well as in education and asset intensive industries by providing specialist application consulting skills widely used in these markets within Australia and New Zealand.
Galaxy 42 is a national consulting business that specialises in providing services to implement, enhance, support and integrate the TechnologyOne application suite. These services help organisations to maximise their investment and provide better business outcomes. Galaxy 42 employs over 30 TechnologyOne consultants all of whom will join the FTS Group umbrella group of companies under the Galaxy 42 brand.
In addition to being the largest independent provider of these services in the Australian market, Galaxy 42 also offers Dell Boomi integration expertise.
Galaxy 42’s expertise provides the opportunity for FTS to integrate TechnologyOne capability and other systems into its overall consulting offering to health, government, education, utilities and other asset intensive industries as part of a more holistic offering. In addition, to being the largest independent provider of these services in the Australian market, Galaxy 42 also offers Dell Boomi integration expertise which will further enhance Anatas’ deep integration capability and coverage of key markets and industry verticals.
Stephen Kowal, Chief Executive Officer, FTS Group, said, “I am excited to have Galaxy 42 join the FTS Group, further strengthening our commitment to local government, asset intensive industries and education sectors. Galaxy 42 builds on our application and integration capability and propels our market leading position in Dell Boomi and webMethods.
FTS Group is now uniquely positioned to provide best in class rapid integration services to councils around Australia, leveraging the combined capability of our ANATAS data integration expertise and Galaxy 42.”
Galaxy 42’s existing customer base includes organisations across Australia, for example City of Gosnells in Western Australia, City of Kingston Victoria, Inner West Council Sydney, Port of Newcastle NSW and national brands like Zenitas Healthcare.
